Different shapes of objects in our day to day life

We have choosen a topic " Different shapes of objects in our day to day life".
OVERVIEW: Students will find out different shapes by observing objects present in our surrounding. They will also draw these shapes.
GOALS: Identification of different shapes
OBJECTIVES: Students will be able to develop critical thinking and analysis.
They will be able to develop problem solving ability.
CURRICULUM FRAMING QUESTIONS
EQ: Make the models for all possible shapes having 6 sides.
UQ: Collect objects of different shapes.
Classify the different objects into different categories on the basis of their shapes.
CQ: How many sides are required to make a simplest shape?
What are different shapes of objects seen in our day to day life.
SUMMARY
In our day to day life generally we come across different objects. Students should know the shapes of these objects to develop a basic understanding of mathematical operations.
